Gizmo5 Shutting Down April 3
If you're a fan of free internet calling service Gizmo5, you'll likely be sad to hear some sad news from the weekend : the service, acquired by Google , is shutting down its independent operations. That means that even those who snagged a Gizmo5 login from before will lose access on April 3, 2011. Google has integrated Gizmo5's calling services into Gmail, but Gizmo5 was still a convenient option for those looking to make free desktop calls.
